FAQ

Common questions

Who do you see?

Adults, couples, and families from across Utah. We also offer specialized support for veterans, military families, and first responders.

Do I need a referral?

No. Reach out first, and we'll help with any paperwork afterward. Veterans don't need a DD-214 to get started.

What happens at the first visit?

You'll meet your clinician, talk about what's bringing you in, and decide together what you want to work on. There's no pressure to share everything at once.

How do I fill out intake paperwork?

Once your first visit is scheduled, you can complete your intake forms online through our secure client portal. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and you can save and finish later.

How do payment and insurance work?

Coverage varies, so we'll go over your options on the first phone call before you schedule anything.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes. Your information is protected under federal and state privacy law, and your clinician will explain the few legal exceptions at your first visit.

Can I bring my spouse or partner?

Yes. Many people find it helpful to include a partner or family member in some sessions. Just let us know when you reach out.
